Abstract:
Engineering soccer robots behaviours is a difficult task. We propose an organizational based methodology which enables the prototyping of specification. This methodology is based upon the decomposition of complex Multi-Agent Sys- tems, like Soccer Robot Systems, in different organizations. Organizations are set of interacting roles. Each role represents an abstract behaviour which will be played by an agent. From semi-formal diagrams of roles our approach propose to refine down to a formal language which uses statecharts. This step gives to each role an opera- tional specification. With such an approach one can analyze incrementally different types of behaviours.
